CONTROL ROOM (PCR) AND TD CONTAINER

Customized control rooms (PCR), especially containers for onshore or offshore use, ensure a reliable and powerful power supply on oil and gas drilling rigs. When it comes to new investments in technology and equipment, space and cost savings play a central role alongside performance factors such as reliability, freedom from maintenance, flexible deployment options and drilling operations under extreme conditions. Whether you are planning to convert from DC to AC technology or install a separate TopDrive or mud pump container, BREUER® offers proven and, if required, certified solutions for safe power supply and distribution on onshore and offshore drilling platforms.
The BREUER® Power Control Room is available for various drilling rig sizes from 1000hp, 1500hp, 2000hp up to 3000hp, so you are guaranteed to find the right container for your specific requirements. Each Power Control Room is first visualized as a 3D model so that it can be built and expanded into a perfectly coordinated system in close consultation with you. The Power Control Room contains all the necessary components such as MCC, VFD, chopper, brake resistors, air conditioning, integrated safety buttons, emergency stop buttons and the control system.

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, MINIMUM SIZE.

Smaller individual drive solutions as TopDrive or Mudpump containers offer maximum performance and equipment in the smallest of spaces. The TopDrive container with VFD, air conditioning, braking resistor and your customer-specific PLC fits into a footprint of just 3m x 3m (9.84 ft x 9.84 ft). We develop special versions for use on onshore and offshore platforms, even for use in the harshest conditions and temperatures.

The BREUER® CONTROL ROOM (PCR)

enables a basic to a high-end solution to ensure the supply of all electrical units on an oil or gas drilling rig. The modern design of the power control rooms allows simultaneous control of all VFDs without restrictions. The container can be supplied either by a generator or from the grid. It is also possible to feed energy back into the grid. The energy generated from the drawwork operation can be used simultaneously in the mud pumps or TopDrives without losing it for the economic operation of the drilling rig.

Decades of experience and know-how in mining qualify us to design components, parts and systems specifically for extreme environmental conditions. Thanks to our VFD and SCR in-house development, all components are optimally matched to each other and enable simple installation and operation. With the help of remote access, we can access plant operators’ systems worldwide and find solutions together with motorers on site without losing valuable time due to travel or visa problems.
